So the medicine doesn't stick to the sides of the cup, and your drank stays mixed.

I had a terrible reaction once. Wound up in the hospital with a hypomanic episode. I was also taking cold medication (Alka Seltzer Plus, the old kind) so who knows what it was. Scared to death to take any cough syrup now! Bottom line is, be careful. Read labels and stick closely to prescribed dosages.

codeine phosphate, sulphate, hydrochloride, are all codeine salts. they are almost always given in combination with another painkiller such as tylenol or advil (brandnames)

One has morphine, one has codeine. Taken orally morphine is some 20 times stronger than codeine (but the syrup will have less morphine per mL). Morphine can be more dangerous and addicitive in some ways but both are very similar.

There is no real evidence to show that. However, the reason that one is taking codeine may have that effect. Of course codeine can make you pretty sleepy and that in itself might decrease the inclination to try and conceive.

Yes, as long as the prescription was written for YOU by a licensed doctor (or other licensed prescriber) you can take it for as long as you have it. You should check the expiry date on it however as the ingredients might not be fully effective any longer, although I'd say a year is still good. (I am a doctor) Once filled, a prescription dosen't run out of validity
