Can you take Lortab if allergic to codeine?

    Lortab is identical to Vicodin – it is a combination of hydrocodone and paracetomol (acetaminophen). If you are truly diagnosed allergic to Codeine (hydrocodone), you should not take it. Allergy to acetaminophen is extremely rare.
